The Czech currency is the strongest against the dollar since September 2018. On 7/27 it closed the trading at the rate of 22.25 CZK / USD. It remains the strongest against the euro since mid-March this year. On 7/27 it was traded at CZK 26.21 / EUR. The Czech Crown was promoted by the sell-off of the dollar in global markets, said Jan Vejmelek, chief economist at Komerční banka. According to him, another reason for that is the epidemiological data showing a continuing deterioration of the situation in the United States.
