Replacing real meat for artificial one. The gastronomic trend that many still disagree with, clearly shows where the whole industry is shifting. Although meat from animals does not disappear from the market, it may soon become a secondary source of protein. There is a bunch of companies in this field already, and more are more are coming out. Some of them are already even public. For example, Beyond Meat, which produces peas and coconut pancakes, Impossible Foods, which also supply the giant fast food chain Burger King, or startup NovaMeat printing alternative food on a 3D printer. Among many other topics, the future of gastronomy will be discussed in a few weeks in Prague at Future Port, the biggest annual tech conference in CEE.
