Year-on-year inflation at 2.3% in the Czech Republic, 1.3% in EU27

In March, consumer prices in the Czech Republic grew 2.3% year on year, which was 0.2 pp more than in February.

On aggregate, prices of goods rose 2.1%, and prices of services were 2.6% higher. This information was provided by the Czech Statistical Office. The inflation rate expressed by an increment of the average index of consumer prices for the past 12 months against the average of the previous period totalled 2.8%. According to Eurostat's flash data, the year-on-year change in the harmonised index of consumer prices in the eurozone was 1.3% (0.9% in February).
