Atradius: 40 % of B2B loans rejected for smaller companies

Companies in the Czech Republic registered an average y/y increase in the overall value of overdue B2B invoices by 63 %. Forty percent of applications for B2B business loans submitted by small and medium-sized companies are rejected due to poor creditworthiness. They described a decline in demand as the greatest problem. During the pandemic 51 % of companies used business loans for B2B sales. This had been the case for 88 % in 2019. The maximum maturity is set by 70 % of companies on average at 0-30 days. During the coronavirus, 30 % of companies extended their payment deadline. This is based on the Payment morale barometer by company Atradius.
