On behalf of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, DIAMO has started geological exploration works in the locality of the military airport in Líně, during which the state enterprise will take samples of groundwater and rocks. These surveys and the subsequent laboratory results will determine the further progress of the Plzeň-Líně Strategic Business Park project. This site is the only possible location in the Czech Republic where the Volkswagen Group's Gigafactory could be built.
