Export prices up 10.5 %, imports 12.8 % more expensive

In November 2021, export prices grew 10.5 % year on year and were 13.7 % higher after adjustments for the influence of exchange rates. The 122.8 % increase in the prices of mineral fuels had a decisive impact on the development of the whole index, according to the information provided by the Czech Statistical Office. Import prices were 12.8 % higher and 15.8 % higher after adjustments. Terms of trade increased to 98.0 % (97.8 % in October). The lowest value was recorded for other raw materials (126.1 %). In month-on-month terms, export prices were 0.9 % higher, while import prices grew by 0.8 %. Terms of trade increased from 98.9 % to 100.1%.
