Lidl Czech Republic plans to invest in the installation of
photovoltaics (PV) on the roofs of its stores and logistics centres,
spokesman Tomáš Myler told ČIANEWS. The company will install
facilities with total output of several MWp. The aim is to cover at
least 20% of the new plants' annual consumption with clean
electricity. The chain regularly monitors announced calls and, for
example, the construction of a PV plant on the roof of the new
logistics centre in Buštěhrad will be supported by the OPPIK
programme.
