The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic (MPO)
increased the allocation for the support of photovoltaic systems
with/without accumulation by CZK 1bn. The reason was the great
interest of entrepreneurs. CZK 4bn is thus prepared for companies
instead of the original CZK 3bn. At the same time, the Ministry of
Industry and Trade extended the deadline for submitting
applications until August 31, 2022. Minister Jozef Síkela (for STAN)
stated that the support of renewable sources led by photovoltaic
systems is one of the main directions we must take not only in
efforts to reduce emissions, but also to minimize our energy
dependence on Russia.
