The Czech economy grew by 0.6% in the 2nd quarter, the Czech statistical office- ČSÚ has confirmed.
The Czech economy grew by 0.6 percent year-on-year in the second quarter of this year. The Czech Statistical Office (ČSÚ) confirmed its previous estimated datas. Compared to the first quarter of this year, the gross domestic product (GDP) was higher by 0.4 percent which is a slightly improved to the earlier prediction. GDP growth in the second quarter was mainly driven by government consumption and investment. Household consumption is growing slowly, irt predicts that people are saving a lot, analysts said.
