The Czech capital, Prague, has been recognized as the 15th smartest city out of 142 cities worldwide in the prestigious Smart City Index 2024. This ranking highlights Prague's impressive achievements in areas such as technological infrastructure, energy efficiency, transportation, and overall quality of life, based on feedback from its residents.

Zurich, Oslo, and Canberra secured the top spots, but Prague's inclusion in the top 15 places it among the global leaders in smart city innovation, marking a significant milestone for the Czech Republic. The index underscores the strength of European and Asian cities in implementing advanced smart solutions, with Prague standing out as a key player.

This achievement reflects Prague's continuous efforts to improve urban living through smart technology, making it a model for other cities both within the Czech Republic and beyond.
