In the first half
of 2023, Photon Energy increased its consolidated revenue by 24.3% year on year
to CZK 970m due to growing revenue from the capacity market, trade with
photovoltaic components and engineering services. EBITDA totalled CZK 68.3m
(down 72.1%). The company adjusted its year-long outlook and lowered its
revenue estimate from CZK 3.6bn to CZK 2.6bn and the EBIDTA estimate from CZK
699m to CZK 241m. The portfolio of power plants in Romania grew by 22.1 MWp. An
additional 10.2 MWp will be connected in the third quarter, increasing the
portfolio to 123 MWp (up 34%). The construction of power plants with an output
of 20.1 MWp will begin. In Australia, Photon Energy completed projects worth
CZK 77.1m and will finish other ones in the second half of this year. The company
has expanded its portfolio of PV systems which it operates and maintains and
administers an additional 158 MWp.
