Czechs strongly support nuclear and renewable energy

Survey finds Czechs very open to green energy, hostile to coal

In the future, the Czech Republic should rely primarily on nuclear and renewable energy sources. This is according to a survey conducted by IBRS - International Business & Research Services, with 96% of the population considering the country's self-sufficiency in energy supply to be crucial. The development of nuclear energy is supported by 70% and renewable energy by 74% of respondents, while 53% see the future of Czech energy in a combination of the two. Only 3% support coal sources.
