Škoda Group presented its concept of a smart depot at the Rail Business Days 2023 fair in Ostrava. Smart Depo will integrate the company's advanced technologies and know-how. It has the potential to streamline operations and optimize costs for transport ompanies. Its development includes three phases. In the first, specific activities will be automated using the integration of already existing functions. The second will enable the operation of trams without a driver. The third phase is the fully autonomous operation of the depot.
