Jaroslav Beck, a 35-year-old entrepreneur, is injecting 100 million CZK into the expansion of his beverage brand, Cans, across Europe. The brand, known for its flavored sparkling water filled with alpine water and natural fruit essence, has gained traction in the Czech market and is now poised for further growth across the continent.
Beck's decision to personally finance the expansion reflects his confidence in the brand's potential to offer a quality alternative to sugary beverages. With only natural ingredients and minimal sugar content, Cans appeal to health-conscious consumers seeking a refreshing yet guilt-free drink option.
Joining Beck's team is Dominic Rice, a seasoned executive with extensive experience at Red Bull, who will assume the role of CEO. Additionally, renowned entrepreneur Tomáš Čupr, founder of the online supermarket Rohlik.cz, will provide strategic guidance to further propel Cans' growth trajectory.
With over 130,000 cans sold within the first seven months, Cans' success underscores the demand for healthier beverage options. As the brand continues to expand its flavor offerings and maintain its commitment to sustainability, it sets a compelling example of Czech innovation and entrepreneurial spirit on the global stage.
