The European Union's NIS2 Directive aimed at strengthening EU
cybersecurity should be incorporated into the Czech legal system by
October 16, 2024 at the latest. In particular, it expands the number
of obliged persons who will have to deal with cybersecurity. In the
first phase, at least 6,000 companies will be affected by the
requirements of the standard, and tens of thousands in the following
phases. The tool that ensures the security of IT infrastructure of
organisations, SIEM (Security Information and Event Management),
was developed by the technology company Teskalabs. It enables
automatic monitoring, correlation and evaluation of security events
in real time and the creation of reports. (Source: ČIA News, www.cianews.cz/en)
