Czech Business Delegation in the UK boosts business and discusses e-government

The delegation met with representatives of British business during the “Innovation Czech Business Forum”. Deputy Prime Minister consulted with UK’s experts in the field of e-government.

A Czech Business Delegation led by the Deputy Prime Minister for Digitalisation and Minister of Regional Development of the Czech Republic, Mr. Ivan Bartos, visited the United Kingdom last week to support business and discuss e-government.

Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Ivan Bartos was accompanied by representatives of leading Czech companies specialising in IT, AI, cyber security and law, seeking commercial applications within their industries. The delegation met with their local counterparts and representatives of British business during the “Innovation Czech Business Forum” at the Czech Embassy.

Mr. Bartos also met with experts in the field of e-government Dr. Camilla Buchanan (Policy Lab UK), Prof. David Eaves (University College London) and Paul Scully MP (Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, Department for Science, Innovation and Technology). The delegation also paid a visit to the National Quantum Computing Centre and consulted with the experts at the Blavatnik School of Government at Oxford University.
