Honeywell's team of scientists and engineers in Brno, in collaboration with Curtiss-Wright, has developed a new Honeywell Connected Recorder-25 (HCR-25) voice recorder and flight data recorder.

The new recorder has received type certification for Boeing 737, 767, and 777 aircraft, which will now be equipped with it as standard from the factory.

Operators of existing aircraft can also install it. The HCR-25 is the world's first certified black box that can be connected online to the ground via satellites during flight. Flight data can thus be acquired continuously.
