In the Netherlands, hydrogen is considered as a key source of sustainable energy and the "fuel of the future" on the way to a carbon-free economy. The Dutch innovation ecosystem supports transnational green solutions and attracts companies from all over the world for investment and joint international projects. The city of Rotterdam and the Port of Rotterdam aim to become the center of hydrogen in Europe.

World Hydrogen Summit & Exhibition is the world's largest event dedicated to technologies and innovations from the world of hydrogen. The conference and trade fair takes place from 13 to 15 May 2024 at the Ahoy exhibition premises in Rotterdam. The event aims to be a global springboard for the development of projects and the establishment of international partnerships and agreements in the field of hydrogen. Last year, 350 companies from 108 countries participated in the exhibition and summit, 170 speakers spoke at the event, and almost 8,000 visitors from professionals and the general public visited the event.
