Mewery
Mewery is a biotech deep-tech startup based in Brno (CZ) aiming to bring cultivated pork meat to the global market, i.e., meat grown from cells without the need to slaughter animals.
Its vision is to create sustainable food production and contribute to tackling global climate change by disrupting preconceived ideas about the need for complex farming of animals for slaughter and food. Mewery is bringing a world-unique scalable method of growing pork cells in co-culture with microalgae, creating a simpler, more stable, and nutritionally richer product vs. competitors and traditionally farmed meat.
