The country has achieved the eight lowest inflation of 41 countries in February.
The Czech Republic improved further in the European inflation rankings in February. It had the eighth lowest inflation out of the 41 European countries surveyed, while in January the Czech Republic had the tenth lowest inflation. Annual consumer price growth in the Czech Republic slowed to two percent in February from 2.3 percent in January.
Russia had the highest inflation in Europe at 7.6 percent. Romania also had high inflation at 6.9 percent, Iceland at 6.6 percent and Belarus at six percent. Of the neighbouring countries, the Czech Republic had the lowest inflation.
