Skoda Auto marks 100,000 units of all-electric Skoda Elroq — second-best selling EV in Europe
The 100,000unit milestone of the Skoda Elroq in under a year, coupled with its position as the second best-selling battery-electric vehicle in Europe and multiple international awards, reflects the growing momentum of electric mobility and underscores Skoda Auto’s growing role in the transition toward sustainable transport in Europe.
Skoda Auto has reached a significant production milestone: since the start of series production earlier this year, the company has built 100,000 units of the fully electric compact SUV Elroq. The anniversary vehicle is an Elroq RS in Mamba Green.
Elroq is produced on a flexible production line in Mladá Boleslav that simultaneously builds battery-electric and combustion-engine models, allowing Skoda to adjust quickly to market demand.
The Elroq has met with strong customer and expert acclaim. In the first three quarters of 2025, it ranked second among Europe’s best-selling BEVs, while its sibling model, Skoda Enyaq, ranked sixth. The model has also collected a number of international awards, including the prestigious Red Dot Design Award, and was recently named German Car of the Year 2026.
According to Škoda, the 100,000unit milestone underlines the “strong, continuing demand” for its battery-electric SUVs — a clear signal that demand for electric mobility in Europe is accelerating sharply.
