Czech Design at FIND – Design Fair Asia 2025

The presence of Czech companies at FIND – Design Fair Asia 2025 once again highlighted the strength of Czech design, creativity and craftsmanship on the international stage. It showed how a well-prepared national presentation can open doors to new opportunities and deepen cultural and business ties between the Czech Republic, Singapore, and Southeast Asia.

The Czech Republic presented one of the largest national pavilions at FIND – Design Fair Asia 2025, held from 11 to 13 September 2025 at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. FIND, one of Asia’s most important platforms for interior design, furniture, lighting, and creative industries, welcomed hundreds of experts and media from across the region.

The Czech Pavilion, presented by the Czech Trade Promotion Agency and financially supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, covered an impressive 120 m² and ranked among the largest national showcases at FIND. Its design was created by MONUMENT Office, led by designer Václav Mlynář (together with Ondřej Pechal), and was tailored to the diverse requirements of the participating nine Czech companies.

Featured Exhibitors

This year’s pavilion highlighted outstanding Czech talent across - bathroom solutions, furniture, lighting, glass, and artisanal craft. Among the leading names was RAVAK, showcasing innovative bathroom solutions that merge functionality with contemporary design. mmcité presented award-winning urban furniture concepts shaping public spaces worldwide, while HUNAT and Sans Souci Lighting introduced the finest in Czech lighting design, blending traditional glassmaking with modern technologies.

Pačinek Glass offered a distinctive perspective on contemporary glass artistry, where deep-rooted tradition meets bold, modern expression. Czech Art Crystal – Halama contributed refined decorative pieces reflecting timeless elegance, also drawing attention with live glass engraving demonstrations. Signati introduced handcrafted wooden pens rooted in Czech woodworking traditions, while Comenivs displayed luxury pens made from precious metals and stones. Artisème curated a selection of Czech handmade glassware that blended craftsmanship with contemporary design. And PETROF introduced world-renowned pianos.

Together, these exhibitors embodied the essence of Czech design – where heritage, artistry, and innovation intersect.

Unique Pavilion Features

What made the Czech Pavilion truly special were its interactive and cultural elements. Visitors could enjoy a live piano performance at the PETROF section, try their hand at glass engraving with Halama’s master engraver, or admire the results of a unique Czech–Singaporean collaboration between Pačinek Glass and Tombalek. Their orchid-inspired glass sculpture, created as a tribute to Singapore’s SG60 celebrations, attracted strong media attention and symbolized how design, art and craft can connect cultures and foster international cooperation.

Business Connections and Market Potential

The Czech Pavilion became a lively meeting point where intensive B2B discussions took place with architects, designers, distributors, and business partners. The strong interest confirmed that Czech design, admired for its craftsmanship, innovation, and authenticity, has significant potential in Singapore and the wider Southeast Asian market.

Singapore, as a regional hub for design and architecture, offers a dynamic environment with high demand for European quality and originality. The Czech presence at FIND reflected this opportunity, strengthening the Czech Design brand and building new connections that will support long-term business growth.
