The Evolution 50 and Evolution 125 glasses—designed in Singapore and handcrafted in the Czech Republic—have been awarded the prestigious 2025 Red Dot Design Award in Product Design.

This exceptional glassware series is the result of a remarkable cross-cultural collaboration between Singapore-based design brand SKLO, sommelier Gerald Lu, and Czech glassworks Květná 1794, one of Europe’s oldest glassmakers. Over the course of two years, the team developed a duo of glasses designed to elevate the sensory experience of wine, sake, and spirits.

Blending deep sommelier expertise with centuries-old Czech glassmaking traditions, each piece is mouth-blown from lead-free crystal and crafted with meticulous precision. The Evolution 125 serves as a universal wine glass, while the Evolution 50 is ideal for spirits and smaller tasting pours.

This Red Dot recognition represents a major milestone for SKLO and underscores Singapore’s growing influence on the global design stage. At the same time, it shines a spotlight on the enduring quality and adaptability of Czech craftsmanship.
