AVAST, Jablotron, Liftago, Seznam.cz, Gurkerl.at und AVG. All das sind erfolgreiche Unternehmen aus Tschechien, die einst als Startups begannen. Tschechien verfügt über ein blühendes Startup-Ökosystem, insbesondere in den Bereichen Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien, E-Commerce und fortschrittliche Industrietechnologien.
Die tschechische Startup-Szene verzeichnete 2024 einen Zuwachs und kletterte im Vergleich zum Vorjahr um 3 Plätze nach oben und überholte damit Island. Damit liegt Tschechien derzeit auf Platz 32 weltweit und auf Platz 3 in der osteuropäischen Region.
Die diesjährige Ausgabe wird wieder in Zusammenarbeit mit EIT Manufacturing, Botschaft der Tschechischen Republik in Österreich und CzechInvest organisiert.
