Škoda presents Epiq Sportline as its electric range expands

Škoda Auto, a part of the concern Volkswagen, is a leading vehicle manufactrurer in Central Europe. Recently it introduced also an electrice modle car to the market.

Škoda Auto presented the Epiq Sportline to the public for the first time at the Paris Motor Show, alongside the fully electric Peaq. The display brought the brand’s expanded battery-electric range together, giving visitors an opportunity to explore the models in one place. Other highlights included the Peaq used as the Tour de France “Red Car” and the Škoda 130 RS, displayed as part of the celebrations marking 125 years of Škoda Motorsport.

A broader choice of electric models

The arrival of the Epiq and Peaq has doubled Škoda’s fully electric portfolio this year. By extending the range at both the entry and premium ends, the company is seeking to introduce its electric vehicles to a wider customer base.

The compact Epiq offers a more accessible route into Škoda’s battery-electric line-up, while the Peaq takes its place as the new flagship. According to the manufacturer’s announcement, the two models had together attracted more than 70,000 orders.

Sportline joins the Epiq family

The Epiq Sportline was a central feature of Škoda’s Paris presentation. It adds the styling elements associated with the Sportline trim to the electric city SUV crossover. Its appearance alongside the Peaq underlined the Epiq’s role in the company’s electric vehicle strategy.

Fifteen vehicles on display

Škoda’s stand in Hall 4 featured 15 vehicles, allowing visitors to view the current range alongside models connected with the brand’s sporting activities. The Peaq Tour de France “Red Car” appeared together with the historic 130 RS racing car, which marked Škoda Motorsport’s 125th anniversary. The Paris Motor Show ran from 13 to 18 October.
