This year, the national enterprise Budějovický Budvar paid the state a planned 550 million crowns from its profits, spokesperson Barbora Povišerová stated today in response to a query from ČTK. It is not yet known how much this will be next year. Last year, Budvar contributed 250 million crowns, and the year before 550 million crowns.

Minister of Agriculture Marek Výborný (KDU-ČSL) stated in the summer that the money would go towards extraordinary support for farmers for this year. The state enterprise Lesy České republiky sent 3.5 billion crowns to the state treasury this year, and next year the contribution is expected to be doubled.
