The Czechia is a haven for real estate investors

The Czech system does not consider how many properties a person owns, unlike some other countries

According to the latest available data, revenue from property taxes in 2023 amounted to just 0.3% of the country's GDP, marking the lowest revenue from property taxation among all EU countries.

In the Czechia the taxation of residential properties is extremely low—both in absolute terms and as a share of GDP. The tax burden ranges from a few hundred to a few thousand crowns per year, primarily because it does not reflect the current market value of the property.

The Czech Republic has one of the lowest revenues from property taxes in Europe. Additionally, in terms of regulation and tax burden, it is among the countries that do not take into account the number of properties owned.
