Bohušovická mlékárna, a.s.

Bohušovice mlékárna is one of the oldest dairies in Czechia. It was founded in 1901 and has undergone a series of modernisations over the course of the century. It successfully supplies both the domestic and international markets with its products.

In the Czech Republic and Slovakia, it is best known for its range of Bobík cream spreads, Bohunka sour cream and Kapucín coffee cream. It was the first company to introduce the traditional Icelandic fermented milk product SKYR to the Czech market; this product is popular all over the world and is now also very popular here.

Numerous awards

The quality of Bohušovice’s products is evidenced, amongst other things, by the many awards that the Bohušovická mlékárna has won. Particularly noteworthy are the successes of Bohunka sour cream with cranberries, which won first place in the 2014 ‘Dairy Product of the Year’ competition in the sour cream category. SKYR has also enjoyed success, having been named the best dairy product in 2017.
