MATERIÁLOVÝ A METALURGICKÝ VÝZKUM s.r.o.

We are the longest operating research organization in the Moravian-Silesian region and the only private research institute conducting comprehensive research in the field of materials engineering, development of testing methods and metallurgy.

We were the first in the Czech Republic to obtain accreditation for testing materials in hydrogen, we have our own patented hydrogen autoclave for work up to 30MPa.

The company’s research, experimental and production capacities are concentrated mainly in the departments of laboratories, materials engineering and metallurgical research. The company includes a semi-operational hall for the production of metallurgical semi-finished products and mechanical workshops providing the production of test bodies and samples for laboratories and the production of jigs and prototypes for individual research departments, including the commercial production of machine parts and components.

  • we are a member of the Hydrogen Cluster of the Moravian-Silesian Region
  • we implement projects within the Research Fund for Coal and Steel (RFCS) and Horizon Europe
