In the third quarter, the average gross wage in the Czech Republic grew by seven percent on a year-on-year basis. After taking into account inflation, the real growth was 4.6 percent. In nominal terms, the gross wage reached 45,412 CZK (740 910 HUF), which is almost three thousand crowns more than in the same period last year. The data was published by the Czech Statistical Office (CSU). The median wage reached 40,482 CZK (660 545 HUF), which was 6.6 percent more on a year-on-year basis.
