65th International Engineering Fair in the Czech Republic to welcome Indian delegation

The 65th anniversary edition of the International Engineering Fair (MSV) will show in one place the innovations that are taking industrial production into a new era. To establish business relations for future cooperation between the Czech Republic and India, the Czech Embassy in Delhi in cooperation with the Czech Honorary Consulate in Chandigarh. organizes a business mission of small and medium-sized enterprises from the North Indian states of Punjab, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir with a focus on engineering, aerospace and automotive industries.

"The International Engineering Fair is a key event where Czech entrepreneurs can establish important contacts with international companies and present their achievements. As part of our traditional Czech national exposition, this year we have prepared a number of seminars and expert lectures on the topics of 5G networks, development of hydrogen technologies, recruitment of workers from abroad or possibilities of state support in the field of energy savings," says Minister of Industry and Trade Jozef Síkela, adding that visitors to the exposition can also look forward to a demonstration of space technologies or a technical education truck with an interactive programme.

This year, visitors will see presentations from 1,386 companies from 42 countries around the world including India, showcasing their latest technologies and innovations from all areas of industry "The high interest of companies confirms the importance of the fair as an important platform for establishing business relations, sharing professional experience and strengthening its position on the international market. We are pleased that the fair is once again attended by the world's leading companies in their respective fields, which underlines its role in the development of the entire industry," said Michalis Busios, Director of the International Engineering Fair.

China, France, India, Italy, Hungary, Poland, Austria, Slovakia, Taiwan Province of Taiwan or Ukraine will open official stands sponsored by the government or a pro-export institution. After three years, Japan's official participation under the JETRO banner returns in an expanded form with 18 companies attending. 

The International Engineering Fair is particularly sought-after by the Indian businesses as there is a growing interest in mutual business and trade cooperation. Apart from participating in the International Engineering Fair and visiting the manufacturing plants of Czech exporters in Brno, the Indian delegation is also going to Prague to hold meetings with Czech business associations. An important part of the programme during MSV will be a match-making seminar with business entities and the signing of a Memorandum of Future Cooperation with the organisers of the International Engineering Fair. 

Key sectors represented by the Indian delegation include automotive, machinery, electronics, and automation, highlighting India’s progress in these industries. This participation not only enhances India’s reputation as a rising hub for engineering excellence but also promotes ‘Make in India’, encouraging investment and collaboration in the country's rapidly growing industrial ecosystem.
