Škoda Auto India has introduced the Kylaq, its first sub-4-metre SUV, starting at INR 7,89,000. Bookings opened on December 2, 2024, with deliveries commencing in January 2025.
On November 6, 2024, Škoda Auto India unveiled the Kylaq, marking its entry into the sub-4-metre SUV segment. Designed specifically for the Indian market, the Kylaq features Škoda's new 'Modern Solid' design language, offering a robust and contemporary appearance.
It is powered by a 1.0 TSI engine delivering 85kW (approximately 115 horsepower) and 178Nm of torque, available with either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. The SUV boasts a spacious interior with a segment-leading boot capacity of 446 litres, expanding to 1,256 litres with the rear seats folded. Safety is emphasized with over 25 active and passive features, including six airbags as standard. Additional amenities include six-way electrically adjustable ventilated front seats, a 25.6 cm infotainment display, and a 20.32 cm digital cockpit.
The Kylaq is priced competitively, starting at INR 7,89,000 (ex-showroom), positioning it as the most accessible model in Škoda's Indian lineup. Customers can register their interest starting today, with bookings opening on December 2, 2024, and deliveries expected to begin in January 2025.
