A group of four Czech companies presented their technologies at the Semiconductor Technology Expo in Kyushu.
The second edition of the trade fair took place, as last year, at the Marine Messe Fukuoka exhibition center on October 8–9. Compared to the previous year, the event expanded into an additional hall, hosting 389 exhibitors in total. According to the organizers, the fair attracted 13,640 visitors—more than 8,000 above the inaugural edition—confirming the dynamic growth of the semiconductor industry in the region.
The Czech national pavilion was located in Hall B, which featured suppliers of post-production technologies as well as joint exhibits organized by prefectures and industry associations. The Czech participation, organized under the PROPED economic diplomacy program in cooperation with CzechTrade, CzechInvest, and the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tokyo, showcased four companies: IQS Nano, UNITED Systems, SQS Vláknová optika, and SVCS Process Innovation.
UNITED Systems and SVCS Process Innovation returned for the second consecutive year to present their semiconductor testing systems and a broad range of process equipment, including diffusion furnaces, to Japanese customers. IQS Nano, represented by its local distributor SIJTechnology, introduced for the first time in Kyushu the potential applications of two-photon polymerization technology in various stages of semiconductor manufacturing. SQS Vláknová optika also took the opportunity to showcase its portfolio of passive fiber optic components and optoelectronic products.
