Once again, the Tech Industry fair took place in the Latvian capital, and the Czech national pavilion was an essential part of it. A 45 m² stand provided facilities and a representative exhibition space for six Czech companies. The Czech participation attracted the attention of potential partners from across the Baltic region and beyond.
Tech Industry is the most important and largest trade fair focused on engineering and industrial manufacturing in the Baltics. During this year’s edition, held on 27–29 November 2025, the following Czech companies were presented: Cermitech s.r.o., Golpretech Czech Republic s.r.o., Gritec s.r.o., TOS Čelákovice, River Factory Group s.r.o., and Rotor Clip.
The Czech Republic was one of the few countries to have its own national pavilion, which attracted a large number of visitors and potential partners. Cooperation was established between the CzechTrade Baltics foreign office and engineering associations from Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia. The contacts gained will help, among other things, in mutual sharing of demand and supply information from individual countries and in identifying opportunities for linking companies.
A total of 270 companies from 25 countries participated in this year's fair — an impressive international spectrum that once again underlines the importance of the technology industry in the Baltic region. Tech Industry 2025 was visited by 21,821 professionals, creating a dynamic and intense business atmosphere. As part of the Tech Industry B2B Matchmaking Event, more than 140 business meetings took place, supporting the establishment of new international contacts and cooperation.
The Tech Industry fair has become a traditional and the most significant exhibition event in the Baltics focused on industrial manufacturing, featuring a high standard of exhibiting companies and professional visitors. It is an ideal platform to showcase traditional Czech industrial production to potential business partners not only from Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia but also from the entire region. The fair presents solutions for industrial manufacturing — covering engineering, metalworking, automation, electronics and electrical engineering, materials and technologies for industrial production, and tools. Local production of modern machinery and tools used in industrial manufacturing is very limited in the Baltic region, and countries are heavily dependent on imports. The fair thus offers an excellent opportunity to gain new partners in the northeastern European market and diversify export destinations.
The national pavilion was visited on the opening day by the Czech Ambassador to Latvia, Mr. Martin Vítek, together with the Director of the European States Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Mr. Martin Pospíšil, who came to support Czech companies in Latvia and meet his Latvian counterparts. In their opening remarks, they thanked the company representatives for promoting traditional Czech industrial production in Latvia and wished the companies much success in entering and further developing their presence on the Latvian market. They then familiarized themselves in detail with the product portfolios of the individual companies represented at the Czech stand.
This year, the national pavilion was also honored by the presence of the Latvian Minister of Economics, Mr. Viktors Valainis, who, together with Ambassador Martin Vítek and Director Martin Pospíšil, toasted the success of Czech companies at the fair with Czech beer.
The event was organized as a joint project under the PROPED economic diplomacy program, in cooperation with the CzechTrade Baltics office, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Riga, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic.
