Czech Innovators Expand Beyond the Local Market

Czechia is increasingly gaining attention as a competitive base for technology, healthcare innovation and digital business solutions in Central Europe.

Czechia is increasingly gaining attention as a competitive base for technology, healthcare innovation and digital business solutions in Central Europe. Although the country is not always listed among the world’s most visible innovation hubs, it has a strong engineering tradition and a growing ecosystem of startups and technology-driven companies. The adoption of artificial intelligence among Czech firms has also accelerated in recent years, with around 40% of companies reportedly using AI tools in some form.

Several Czech companies illustrate how this innovation potential is moving beyond the domestic market. In healthcare, Kardi Ai has developed a portable heart-monitoring solution that combines a wearable chest strap, a mobile application and an AI-powered cloud platform. The system allows users to monitor heart activity over longer periods of time, helping detect irregular heart rhythms that may not appear during standard short ECG tests. The company presents its solution as a shift from reactive diagnostics toward continuous prevention.

Another example is Macromo, a Czech health-tech company focused on preventive screening and longevity. Its platform offers at-home blood testing combined with AI-based analysis of more than 50 biomarkers. Users receive results through an application, together with personalized recommendations related to nutrition, supplements and lifestyle. By making regular health screening more accessible, Macromo aims to bring preventive care closer to everyday life and to serve clients across the European Union.

Czech innovation is also visible in the field of business data and AI-based workflow automation. Phi Technologies develops platforms that help organizations manage scattered internal knowledge, search across company data and automate processes in regulated environments. Its tools are already used in international contexts, including support for regulatory compliance in the medical device sector. English is a core language for the company’s products, which reflects the international ambitions of many Czech technology firms.

The no-code segment is represented by Macaly, a Czech-founded company that enables users to create websites, applications and internal tools through plain-language instructions. Its AI agent can generate functional digital products including hosting, databases, analytics and SEO features. This approach lowers the barrier for entrepreneurs, marketers and smaller teams that want to launch digital projects without depending on traditional software development capacity.

For international partners, including companies in Morocco and across Africa, these examples show that Czechia offers more than traditional industrial know-how. The country is building a modern innovation profile based on artificial intelligence, health technologies, automation, digital tools and scalable software solutions. Czech companies are increasingly developing products in English and targeting international users from the start, which makes them relevant partners for markets looking for practical and export-ready technology solutions.
