A survey conducted by Ipsos, a multinational market research and consulting company, for the Export Guarantee and Insurance Corporation (EGAP) and Association of a Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises of the Czech Republic (AMSP ČR) revealed that 85 % of smaller export companies in the Czech Republic are planning to invest in development in the next two years, mainly into artificial intelligence.
This
survey, attended by 100 companies, revealed that the main reason for such
investment is cost-efficiency. However, companies are still aware of the
possible problems with AI, such as reliability, misuse or lack of experience. Other
revelation of the survey suggests that 65 % of those companies plan to use
their own resources for such investments. Other forms of financing will include
bank loans or subsidies. Exporting companies can also take advantage of EGAP
and its services such as insurance in order to increase the competitiveness of
their investments.
