Qatar has crossed a significant milestone in its green mobility strategy by installing over 300 fast DC EV chargers nationwide as of August 1, 2025. These Level 3 chargers can power most EVs up to 80 % in under 30 minutes, addressing range anxiety and enabling practical EV adoption across urban and commercial sectors.

The initiative aligns with Qatar National Vision 2030, supporting clean transport and emissions reduction while laying the foundation for a modern EV ecosystem. A mobile app enables users to track charging progress, receive updates, and report issues—making charging infrastructure both user‑centric and data‑driven.

Plans are underway to extend this network to residential neighbourhoods, malls, and public parking zones, reflecting Qatar’s commitment to sustainable urban mobility.
