A delegation of 12 Czech industrial companies will present itself on October 20 and 21 at a joint national exhibition with the aim of establishing partnerships with their Romanian counterparts. The Czech participation brings proven solutions with high added value to the ongoing modernization of Romanian rail lines and the procurement of modern trainsets.
The Czech national pavilion will showcase a comprehensive portfolio for modern railways—ranging from complete rail vehicles and system integration provided by ŠKODA TRANSPORTATION to advanced software solutions, digitalization, and diagnostics from ŠKODA DIGITAL, OLTIS Group, and Passengera, which supply information, reservation, and onboard infotainment systems. The fields of avionics, check-in systems, and monitoring are represented by Mikroelektronika, MSV elektronika, and LEVEL, while Alfa Union and SALTEK ensure the reliability of power supplies and surge protection for electrical installations. Significant technological and expert support is complemented by specialized research and certification facilities—Research Centre Řež, SVÚM, and SVV Prague—which offer materials research, testing, material trials, and certification in the fields of welding and surface treatments.
Participation by companies is organized by the CzechTrade agency (part of CzechBusiness) and the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Bucharest, long-standing partners of the event, and supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic. This institutional support guarantees the high level of expertise of the participating companies, which have long excelled in the fields of security technology, telematics, the supply of parts for rail vehicles, and track management. The Czech national stand will serve as the primary point of contact for Romanian buyers, subcontractors, designers, and representatives of both public and private transportation companies.
The Railway Days (Zilele Feroviare) International Summit is a key event for the railway sector in Romania. The event focuses on infrastructure, rolling stock, the digitization of transportation, and the development of urban rail systems. Last year’s summit attracted over 350 experts, some 30 exhibitors, and representatives of institutions from more than ten European countries.
