Average wage in Czechia nears CZK 52,000

The average gross monthly wage in Czechia rose 6,4% year on year to CZK 51,966 in Q2 2026. After accounting for 2% inflation, real wages increased by 4,3%, according to the Czech Statistical Office.

Wage growth was strongest in administrative and support services, where pay rose by 16.6%, followed by public administration, defence and social security at 9%. The average wage for the first half of 2026 reached CZK 50,650, up 6.2% year on year.
