In 2025, Czech vehicle makers assembled 1,445,776 cars, a slight 0,5 % drop from 2024 but still one of the sector´s best results, highlighting resilience amid rising costs and global uncertainties. More than 92,5 % of the cars produced went to foreign markets, and electricifation surged – battery-electric and plug-in hybrids jumped by 89 % to 285,176 vehicles, meaning almost every fifth car produced was electified. Škoda Auto led with 947,140 vehicles (around a quarter of them electric), while Hyundai and Toyota plants saw mixed results. Bus production climbed sharply, heavy trailer output rose modestly, and motorcycle and some commercial vehicle segments declined.
