Six Czech companies showcased their technological and manufacturing innovations at the 50th edition of the Elmia Subcontractor trade fair in Jönköping. The success of the exhibition confirmed the strong position of Czech companies in the Nordic market and opened up new opportunities for international cooperation.

From 11 to 13 November, Czech companies took part in the prestigious industrial fair Elmia Subcontractor in Jönköping, which celebrated its 50th edition this year. This trade fair is one of the most important supplier events in the Nordic region, attracting over 11,000 professionals and nearly 1,000 exhibitors from more than 30 countries each year, serving as a key platform for discovering new suppliers, technologies, and innovations across the automotive, engineering, and electronics sectors.

At the joint stand organized by the CzechTrade Scandinavia office, the following Czech companies were presented:

·        MECAWEL spol. s r.o. – a long-term engineering partner supplying assembly units, machinery, and precision components with a focus on quality, reliability, and cost-efficient production.

·        Czech Manufacturers Association (CZECHMA) – a network connecting international clients with over 30 verified Czech manufacturers in welding, sheet metal, and machining.

·        PSP Pohony a.s. – a leading manufacturer of industrial gearboxes, couplings, brakes, and high-precision gears.

This year’s Czech exhibition was further strengthened by the national stand of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, where an additional nine Czech companies exhibited in cooperation with the Foundry Association of the Czech Republic. The participation of Czech businesses was also supported by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Stockholm.

The successful participation at the jubilee edition confirmed the growing interest of Czech companies in the Swedish and broader Nordic market. The contacts made, professional meetings, and positive visitor feedback demonstrated that Czech companies can compete successfully on the international stage.

CzechTrade Scandinavia looks forward to the next edition of Elmia Subcontractor, which will take place on 10–12 November 2026!
