Czechia is continuing to strengthen its infrastructure for electric mobility, responding to the growing number of electric vehicles on its roads. According to recent data, the country now has approximately 3,700 public charging stations, while the number of fully electric passenger cars has exceeded 73,000. The charging network is being further expanded, including through investments by major energy companies and other operators. This development is part of a broader European transition towards lower-emission transport, although the pace of electrification differs significantly between individual markets. Norway remains a European and global leader in electric mobility, with battery-electric vehicles accounting for around 96% of new passenger-car registrations in 2025. For Czechia, the continued expansion of charging infrastructure represents an important step towards making electric mobility more accessible and supporting the gradual transformation of the country's transport sector.
