The Czech startup Aharta is transforming the way people discover cultural and natural heritage. Its AI platform turns parks, museums, or entire districts into interactive adventures without the need to download an app. In June 2025, Aharta made its debut in Singapore by launching the pilot project “Ginger Garden Hunt” at the Singapore Botanic Gardens.
Every place holds stories waiting to be uncovered. The Czech startup Aharta has developed a platform that combines artificial intelligence, geolocation, and digital storytelling. The result is an easily accessible experience in a mobile browser – with no need for app installation or complex technology.
Aharta works like a “Canva for the real world.” It enables the creation of games, quizzes, educational trails, and team-building activities that draw visitors directly into the experience. The platform leverages GPS maps, augmented reality, NFC, IoT features, and AI guides, which adapt the content to the audience and make learning and exploration more engaging.
One of Aharta’s first international projects is the interactive game Ginger Garden Hunt in the Ginger Garden at the Singapore Botanic Gardens. Here, visitors can embark on an adventure uncovering the secrets of the ginger family. The project was made possible thanks to the collaboration of Aharta, CzechTrade Singapore, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Singapore, and with the expert support of Czech botanist Dr. Jana Leong-Škorničková, who has been based in Singapore.
This pilot project was introduced during the 1. delegation of Czech AI companies to Singapore (from 16 to 19 June 2025). This delegation included meetings with key institutions such as IMDA – AI Verify, AI Singapore, NUS – AI Institute, networking at Amazon Web Services, and participation in the global conference SUPERAI 2025.
The Ginger Garden Hunt project is clear proof that Czech innovation can succeed abroad and leave its mark in areas where technology, education, and cultural heritage converge. And this is only the beginning – Aharta is returning to Singapore to further expand its activities and build on the successfully established contacts and pilot projects.
