Czech Participation at GovWare & Singapore International Cyber Week 2025

The Czech Republic showcased its capabilities at Southeast Asia’s most prestigious cybersecurity events — GovWare and Singapore International Cyber Week (SICW). The core mission was clear: to strengthen international cooperation, expand strategic partnerships, and promote Czech cybersecurity technologies in one of the world’s most advanced digital markets. Held from 21–23 October 2025 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, both GovWare and SICW rank among the leading global platforms for government representatives, industry experts, and technology leaders. These events offer exceptional opportunities for building international partnerships and developing business relationships in the field of cybersecurity.

The Czech participation focused on deepening collaboration in cyber security, expanding ties with key institutions and commercial partners, and presenting cutting-edge Czech solutions for protecting digital infrastructure.

The Czech Pavilion, organised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic and CzechTrade, featured six innovative companies: Blindspot Technologies, GoodAccess, HackedList.io, MyQ, Safetica, and Wultra. Together, they showcased solutions spanning from critical infrastructure protection, Zero Trust, data security, workflow security, threat intelligence, to post-quantum authentication.

The official programme also included speaking appearances by Czech representatives on the main conference stages. Mr. Jiří Kozák, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, delivered a keynote and took part in SICW’s opening panel. Ms. Marta Pelechová, Special Envoy for Cyberspace at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, contributed to panel discussions at both GovWare and SICW. Mr. Tomáš Krejčí, Deputy Director of the Czech National Cyber and Information Security Agency (NÚKIB), spoke at a specialist panel at GovWare. And Czech technological expertise was further represented by Mr. David Čermák, CEO of Blindspot Technologies, who presented during a Tech Talk at GovWare.

The Czech presence was complemented by an intensive accompanying programme, including “Czech Beer & Cyber 2025,” the third edition of a successful networking evening, and a Delegation Tour visiting the pavilions of leading Singaporean exhibitors - such as ST Engineering, Singtel, Ensign InfoSecurity, PCS Security, and others. Numerous B2B and B2G meetings generated new business contacts and tangible opportunities for future cooperation. The significance of the Czech presence was further underscored by the official visit of Mr. Tan Kiat How, Senior Minister of State for Digital Development and Information, who met Czech company representatives at the Czech Pavilion.

A notable highlight of this year’s participation was the announcement that Wultra is establishing its first overseas branch in Singapore, demonstrating the growing importance of the ASEAN market for Czech cybersecurity firms.

The Czech Republic will continue building on these activities with the long-term ambition of strengthening its visibility, partnerships, and commercial footprint in the ASEAN region — one of the fastest-growing digital markets in the world.
