Zetor to Increase Hiring Following Stabilization of Tractor Production

Zetor, the renowned Czech tractor manufacturer, has successfully stabilized its operations after a period of significant restructuring.

Last year, the company announced major layoffs as part of an effort to streamline its workforce and clear out excess inventory. These measures have now yielded positive results, with Zetor in a position to expand its workforce once again, planning a modest number of new hires over the next year.

Founded in 1946, Zetor has produced more than 1.3 million tractors to date, establishing itself as a key player in the global agricultural machinery market. The company’s peak production years occurred under Czechoslovakia’s Communist regime, when output reached an impressive 20,000 units annually.

With the company’s situation now stabilized, Zetor is poised for future growth and aims to continue its legacy of high-quality tractor production while responding to the evolving demands of the agricultural sector.
