SVÚM a.s. is a Research organization registered with the Council for Research, Development and Innovation in the Czech Republic and specializes in the field of basic and applied research and development of metallic materials, plastics and composites. It has accredited laboratories and testing laboratories. SVÚM a.s. has a high experience with a solution of research projects in the country and abroad. Its laboratory are equipped with test machine for fatigue tests, test of railway wheels, thermomechanical tests of wheels and brakes and test of wagon bearings. Experiences with testing fatigue crack growth rate and fracture toughness in hydrogen gas up to 200 bar according to the ASME B31.12. Large CREEP laboratory with more than 200 creep furnaces to 1200 C. High experience with a solution of research projects in the country and abroad.  SVUM is a fully private company with 55 employees in 2025, the total annual turnover of over EUR 3 million.
