Czech IT Group Aricoma Secures Major EU IT Services Contract Worth Approx. $670 Million

Czech technology company Aricoma, part of the KKCG investment group founded by Karel Komárek, has won a major framework contract from the European Commission, reaffirming its position among Europe’s leading IT service providers.

Under the renewed agreement, Aricoma will again supply IT infrastructure, hardware, software solutions, and related services to key EU institutions, including the European Commission, European Court of Justice, European Parliament, and approximately 70 additional EU bodies. The new contract significantly expands the scope of cooperation compared to the previous framework awarded in 2021 and is valued at approximately $670 million (€617 million).

Aricoma prevailed over major European competitors and is among a very limited number of suppliers to have successfully renewed such a large EU-wide contract. The framework includes solutions from global technology partners Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Nutanix.

The contracting authority is the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Digital Services, with access to the framework extended to all major EU institutions, including the EU Council and the EU Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA), headquartered in Prague.

Aricoma specializes in IT infrastructure, cloud services, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, public-sector digitalization, and systems integration. The group employs around 2,200 professionals.
