Czech startup E2B raises millions from U.S. Partners

Prague-based company E2B has secured a USD 21 million Series A investment led by U.S. firm Insight Partners. The funding will help the company scale its infrastructure for deploying AI agents and expand its presence in North America.

In July 2025, Czech technology company E2B announced the closing of a USD 21 million Series A funding round, led by New York-based private equity firm Insight Partners. The round also included participation from Decibel, Sunflower Capital, KAYA VC, and several American angel investors.

E2B develops infrastructure for building, testing, and deploying autonomous AI agents. Its core platform enables enterprises to run large language model (LLM)-powered agents securely, using sandboxed environments with features like shared memory, credentials management, observability, and real-time coordination tools.

The investment will accelerate E2B’s product development, support open-source community growth, and fund commercial expansion across the U.S. and Canada. The company plans to deepen partnerships with North American tech firms and integrate its agent platform into major cloud and enterprise environments.

For U.S. investors and industry leaders, this deal signals the Czech Republic’s growing role in shaping global AI infrastructure. E2B is part of a new wave of Central European startups delivering next-gen solutions for AI automation and enterprise productivity.
