Czech Startup Exaforce Draws Attention in AI-Driven Cybersecurity

Czech-American cybersecurity startup Exaforce has secured $125 million in a new Series B investment round, further strengthening its position among the fastest-growing AI-focused technology companies with Czech roots. The latest financing brings the company’s total funding to approximately $200 million within roughly one year.

The investment was backed by several major Silicon Valley venture capital firms, including Khosla Ventures and Mayfield, both of which had already invested in Exaforce during its earlier funding stage. Khosla Ventures is known globally as one of the early investors in OpenAI. Additional investors participating in the round include HarbourVest, Peak XV, and Seligman Ventures.

Exaforce operates in the rapidly growing field of AI-powered cybersecurity. The company develops intelligent AI agents, internally referred to as “exabots,” designed to assist security operation centers (SOCs) with detecting, analyzing, and responding to cyberattacks significantly faster than traditional cybersecurity systems.

According to the company, the platform combines artificial intelligence technologies, including large language models (LLMs), with advanced cybersecurity analytics. The goal is to automate repetitive investigative tasks, accelerate incident response, and reduce pressure on cybersecurity teams facing increasing volumes of attacks and security alerts.

Behind the project is the Czech entrepreneurial and engineering duo Singla and Pavlík, who have previously completed several major technologies exits. While the company operates internationally, it continues to maintain and expand its engineering base in Prague, highlighting the growing importance of the Czech Republic as a center for advanced software development and AI engineering.

Exaforce has already attracted attention from major global technology players. Research and advisory company Gartner included the startup in its industry reports, which significantly increases visibility among Fortune 500 companies and large enterprise customers. In addition, Amazon Web Services selected Exaforce last year for its support program for AI startups, a program reportedly accepting only around two percent of applicants.

The announcement of the latest investment round was also displayed on the Nasdaq screen in New York, underlining the increasing international visibility of Czech-founded technology firms within the U.S. innovation ecosystem.

For Czech-U.S. business relations, the growth of Exaforce demonstrates the increasing integration of Czech engineering talent into high-value sectors such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and enterprise software. The U.S. market continues to represent one of the key growth opportunities for Czech technology startups, particularly in industries where demand for AI-driven automation and cybersecurity solutions is rapidly increasing.
