Škoda expands electric line-up with budget-friendly Epiq.

Škoda unveils its cheapest electric vehicle, the Epiq, starting at €26,000.

Škoda Auto has officially unveiled its smallest and most affordable electric vehicle to date, the new Škoda Epiq, during a world premiere in Zurich. The compact crossover represents Škoda’s latest step in its rapid expansion of electric mobility and is designed to attract new customers to the EV market with a relatively affordable price tag, practical interior and modern technology.

The Epiq will enter production in June at the Volkswagen Group plant near Pamplona in northern Spain, with the first customer deliveries expected by the end of the summer. Pre-orders open on Wednesday, when Škoda is also expected to release detailed pricing. Company executives said the starting price should be around 26,000 euros, or approximately 632,000 Czech crowns, making it the cheapest electric model in Škoda’s current portfolio.
